.J. Cale  Tina Arena  Luthea Salom        A trove of previously unreleased songs recorded by American music icon JJ Cale during his early, and arguably most influential, years will at long last be released.  Featuring vintage tracks from Cale’s legendary tenures at Shelter Records and  Mercury Records, Rewind: Unreleased Recordings’ will be in stores on October 2nd.  Recorded at the same time Eric Clapton introduced Cale’s songs “After Midnight” and “Cocaine” to mainstream audiences, Rewind is a remarkable collection of songs that epitomize the distinctive sound and style that Cale built.        After many months of unconfirmed stories and rumours it has been finally revealed that Tina has now re-signed to EMI Records and will release her brand new album “Songs of Love and Loss” in December. These are some of Tina’s favourite torch songs over the years blended with several originals. She will be in Australia for official promotion until the end of December culminating with a gala night at the Sydney Opera House at the start of January.         Luthea has just released her repackaged and remastered album “Sunbeam Surrounded By Winter” which is an expanded version of her 2005 release “Incessant Spinning”. The new CD includes a newly recorded version of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel”, a remix, bonus exclusive material and beautiful new artwork. She has been in America performing and promoting the album and is scheduled to return to Europe to promote the album through 2008.;
